Absolutely the best hotel we have ever stayed at in Mexico! The wife and I spent 3 days there for our 33rd wedding anniversary and loved the service and atmosphere. We flew into the local Alamos airstrip and taxied the plane right into their hangar minutes away from the hotel. Jim (the Owner) met us in the hangar with a brand-new air-conditioned van, helped load up the luggage and drove us to the resort. Check in was an absolute breeze. The 1600th century Spanish architecture, lush landscaping, along with all the modern conveniences (4 pools, spa, AC, on site bar and restaurants, etc.,) made for an unforgettable getaway. We did not have our dogs with us on this trip, but we found out that they have pet friendly rooms and the next time we fly down the boys (2 Yorkies) will be along for the ride. Hacienda De Los Santos is by far the pilot friendliest hotel I have ever stayed at and if you happen to be a pilot and fly in, they offer a great discount. We hope to be back in a few months!
